Job summary

GHD is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the IS Data & Analytics team. The role focuses on data transformation, modelling, quality, and enabling stakeholders with robust analytics solutions.

You will build data models and semantic layers in Fabric (or equivalent) and collaborate across data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver reliable data products. Hybrid work with a Cebu-based option is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI/data warehouse experience with two full analytics projects.
• Strong SQL and data modelling knowledge (star schemas, fact/dim tables, SCD).
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent (Databricks/Synapse/Snowflake + dbt).
• Semantic models and DAX for Power BI with data contracts and governance.
• Git, peer reviews, CI/CD and modular, reusable code.
• Clear written and spoken communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data models and Power BI semantic models across layers using SQL and notebooks.
• Write tests to ensure data quality and fix data issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards and practices.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
