Job summary

AS White Global is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer in Manila to own end-to-end data engineering within Microsoft Fabric, building lakehouse/warehouse solutions and supporting reporting and decisions.

You will ingest data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, notebooks and dataflows, while developing ETL/ELT pipelines with medallion architecture and ensuring scalable, reliable data models for the BI team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong Microsoft Fabric experience (Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines).
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data handling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT using medallion architecture.
• Knowledge of Git, version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance, security and change-management processes.
• Organised, proactive and collaborative with ability to work independently.
• Power BI, semantic modelling, DAX or PL-300 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end-to-end data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Connect and ingest data from multiple source systems using SQL, Python, notebooks and dataflows.
• Develop, deploy and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines following medallion architecture.
• Maintain and optimise lakehouse, warehouse, queries and data models for performance and reliability.
• Prepare trusted analytics-ready data views for the BI team and support semantic models.
• Manage Git integration, version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot data and pipeline issues, test and maintain documentation.
• Manage Jira requests and follow data governance, security, access control and change-approval processes.
