Job summary

The Western Union Company is seeking an AML compliance professional to operate within the compliance organization with a focus on process oversight. You will perform QA reviews, collaborate with operations to improve processes, uptrain teams on AML/CFT trends, and escalate risks as needed.

You will stay current with evolving typologies and regulatory changes, delivering practical trainings and contributing to automation and efficiency improvements across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews within compliance workflows.
• Collaborate with operations to improve processes and provide actionable feedback.
• Train teams on AML/CFT trends and controls.
• Review customer activity for risk indicators and escalate as needed.
• Lead calibration sessions to ensure consistent decision making.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
