Western Union is seeking an AML Compliance Manager to lead a team of up to 15 and oversee procedures that analyze suspicious activity by customers and agents. The role involves liaison with law enforcement, trend analysis, and policy recommendations to mitigate money-laundering risks.

The successful candidate will have higher education or equivalent AML experience, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and proven leadership and English communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Higher education or equivalent experience in AML Compliance, investigations or risk-based role within financial services.
• Strong MS Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team.
• Excellent communication, time management and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to make independent professional decisions related to AML risks.
• Fluency in English.
• Detail-oriented, multitasking and able to work under pressure.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilités

• Manage a team of up to 15 people and minimize AML-related risks through development and implementation of procedures.
• Oversee daily operations, motivate team, and meet objectives.
• Analyze trends and contribute to process improvement recommendations with compliance stakeholders.
• Maintain current desk procedures and ensure SLAs are met.
• Identify process improvements and recommend system changes.
• Process high-risk approvals following proper protocols.
