Job summary

Appen is seeking a Project Associate to manage onboarding for AI, LLM, and data-contribution projects. You will build onboarding workflows, learning materials, and readiness reporting, while evaluating contributor performance to ensure readiness to begin work.

You will collaborate with Recruiting, Trust & Safety, Delivery, and Program teams to ensure onboarding programs are ready for launch and continually improved, with a focus on verbal and written English communication and night-shift

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in a metric-driven environment such as operations, production, or customer support.
Proficient in Excel and Power BI with ability to build trackers and readiness reporting.
Familiarity with AI concepts and terminology (LLMs, prompting, annotation, search relevance).
Experience with ticketing or contributor/crowd support platforms.
Strong written and verbal English communication; able to explain policies clearly.

Responsibilities

Set up workflows, launch materials, and supporting content for new and expanding projects.
Create and maintain enablement materials: modules, FAQs, exercises, quizzes, and knowledge checks.
Evaluate contributor qualifications, maintain records, and manage access and task assignments.
Respond to contributor questions and tickets related to onboarding and access, escalate issues as needed.
Maintain trackers and dashboards, provide project updates, flag inconsistencies or risks.
Analyze onboarding and performance issues, identify root causes, develop clarifications or refresher content.
