Job summary

ERoad is hiring an Intermediate Software Engineer in Manila to contribute to a cloud-native, event-driven SaaS platform. You will design and build microservices and RESTful APIs, own features from design through production, and help shape team practices in a hybrid work setup.

You’ll bring backend production experience in Java or C#, with cloud-native work on AWS or Azure, plus experience with databases and automated testing.

Qualifications

• Solid backend production experience in Java or C# with strong depth in one.
• Cloud-native development on AWS or Azure in a microservice setup.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, databases and automated testing.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools and reviewing AI-generated output.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery within your squad from design to production.
• Design and build microservices and RESTful APIs for a cloud-native platform.
• Review AI-generated code before merge and ensure quality and security.
• Contribute to squad standards and participate in on-call rotations.
