Job summary

EROAD Philippines Inc is hiring an intermediate Software Engineer to join the platform team building EROAD's cloud-native, event-driven SaaS system spanning AWS and Azure. You will own delivery end-to-end within your squad, design and build microservices and RESTful APIs, review AI-generated code before it merges, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Hybrid work arrangement with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, starting 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PHT, and a strong emphasis on hands-on backend work

Qualifications

• Solid backend production experience with C# .NET.
• Hands-on experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and containerisation.
• Hands-on AI tooling usage and ability to review AI-generated code.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery end-to-end within your squad and shape team processes.
• Design and build microservices and RESTful APIs for a cloud-native platform.
• Take features from design through production, ensuring quality.
• Decompose work for AI agents vs. human judgement.
• Review and correct AI-generated code before merge and monitor quality.
• Design and implement automated tests across unit, component and integration levels.
• Contribute to squad engineering standards and participate in on-call rotations.
