Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a data privacy attorney with 3–4 years of privacy experience to help implement global privacy programs. You will conduct DPIAs, advise on data protection matters, review contracts, and draft privacy schedules while coordinating with Legal, business teams and external counsel.

You will monitor evolving privacy regulations, prepare guidance, and support stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Law degree with 3–4 years of data privacy experience.
• Strong understanding of global data privacy regulations.
• Hands-on experience with privacy assessments or DPIAs.
• Experience with privacy contract terms and schedules.
• Fluent English with excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word; GenAI tools.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Help implement a global data privacy program through privacy reviews, regulatory analysis, process improvement and stakeholder advisory support. This role combines independent legal work with close collaboration across Legal, business teams and external counsel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct country risk assessments, privacy reviews and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
• Draft, review and support negotiation of data privacy schedules in commercial agreements.
• Monitor global privacy developments and prepare guidance, communications and training.
• Support data subject rights requests, regulatory inquiries and first-level privacy queries.
• Design privacy processes, templates, process flows and metrics, and manage new initiatives.
• Support senior privacy counsel and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree with 3–4 years of data privacy experience.
• Strong understanding of global data privacy regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with privacy assessments, risk reviews and/or DPIAs.
• Experience with privacy contract terms and schedules.
• Fluent English with excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, legal research, analytical and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word; ability to use GenAI legal-research tools.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR ONE CL9 OPENING:

Experience supporting ventures and acquisitions due diligence and policy administration.

PREFERRED:

IAPP certification such as CIPP/E; Power BI proficiency.
