Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to design and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents and end-to-end automations from Windmill to MCP, integrating Slack, Zendesk, Microsoft 365, HubSpot and more.

You will build prompts, validation checkpoints, and robust evaluation for AI solutions, ensuring security and compliance while collaborating with global stakeholders on a day-shift schedule from a remote setup in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise-grade AI agents and end-to-end automations using Windmill, n8n, Claude Enterprise, and MCP integrations.
• Integrate agents and workflows across core business platforms using robust APIs, webhooks, and secure tools.
• Design prompts, retrieval systems, and human-in-the-loop validation over knowledge bases and Snowflake datasets.
• Execute structured evaluation frameworks and automated test suites to measure agent accuracy, reliability, and drift.
• Lead intake discovery and business process mapping with stakeholders to scope high-impact automations with ROI baselines.
• Monitor live production automations for usage, cost efficiency, and performance drift; resolve incidents.
• Enforce security guardrails (least privilege, SSO, secrets management, prompt defenses, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Enable teams with training, runbooks, and scalable agent patterns.

Your Role

As an AI & Automation Engineer, you will:

• Build enterprise-grade AI agents and end-to-end automations using Windmill, n8n, Claude Enterprise, and custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
• Integrate agents and workflows across core business platforms (Slack, Zendesk, Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Monday.com, and Snowflake) using robust APIs, webhooks, and secure tools.
• Design sophisticated prompts, agent retrieval systems, and human-in-the-loop validation checkpoints over internal knowledge bases and curated Snowflake Gold-layer datasets.
• Execute structured evaluation frameworks and automated test suites to measure agent accuracy, reliability, and drift before release and following major updates.
• Lead intake discovery and business process mapping with non-technical stakeholders to scope feasible, high-impact automations with defined ROI baselines.
• Monitor live production automations for usage, cost efficiency, and performance drift, proactively resolving incidents and optimizing model architectures.
• Enforce stringent security and compliance guardrails (least privilege, Entra ID SSO, secrets management, prompt injection defenses, SOC 2, and PCI DSS separation).
• Enable business teams and internal champions through practical training, clear runbook documentation, and scalable agent patterns.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 3+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or automation engineering, with at least 1 year deploying production-grade LLM/AI solutions.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Hands-on expertise with LLM APIs and modern agent architectures, including tool use/function calling, retrieval, prompt design, and structured output formatting.
• Practical experience building and maintaining workflows on automation engines such as Windmill, n8n, Make, or equivalent platforms.
• Solid background working with REST APIs, OAuth protocols, webhooks, and enterprise SaaS integrations (e.g., Slack, Zendesk, Microsoft 365, HubSpot).
• Hands-on experience establishing evaluation and testing techniques for non-deterministic AI outputs.
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining isolated test and production environments.
• Strong consultative and stakeholder-facing skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into scoped technical roadmaps.
• Deep security consciousness regarding credential handling, least-privilege access, and AI-specific vulnerabilities (data leakage, prompt injection).
• Flexibility and reliability to collaborate effectively during day-shift hours with distributed global stakeholders.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior experience designing and building custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or agent tools.
• Direct hands-on development with the Anthropic / Claude API ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of SQL and consuming curated data layers from Snowflake or cloud data warehouses.
• Foundational cloud and container infrastructure knowledge (AWS Lambda, IAM, EKS/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity operating inside compliance-heavy enterprise environments governed by SOC 2 or PCI DSS standards.
• Background in formal business analysis, process mapping, or building time-saved/ROI models for internal initiatives.
• Domain exposure to SaaS or hospitality platforms and workflows.
