Job summary

RTX in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to coordinate shipment bookings, documentation, and cross-functional communication with Planning, Customer Service, Shipping, and other business units. The role covers end-to-end shipment coordination, international shipping procedures, cost management, RFQ processing, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

This onsite position offers a 48-hour work week and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement in logistics

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in logistics operations, shipment coordination or freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of shipment booking, tracking and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication and coordination among internal teams and external stakeholders regarding shipment transactions, logistics activities, and customer inquiries, working closely with Planning, Customer Service, Shipping, and other business units.
• Review shipment bookings and plan shipments according to established routing guidelines, company procedures, and customer requirements.
• Arrange shipment bookings with courier companies and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Review and verify shipping documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with global trade regulations and government agency requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor shipment progress to ensure compliance with KPIs, CRD, and agreed shipping lead time.
• Coordinate and manage logistics transactions, including RFQs, freight rate negotiations, re-export processes, and shipment consolidation.
• Facilitate the coordination and processing of shipment-related claims.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure proper documentation, filing, and retention in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
