Job summary

CAT Media Group, Makati City, is seeking a seasoned General Manager – Advertising to lead the company's advertising operations, client management, and growth initiatives. The role demands strategic vision, strong leadership, and the ability to oversee multiple accounts and campaigns with a focus on revenue generation.

The successful candidate will drive new business, nurture key client relationships, and coordinate with Sales, Creative, Marketing, Production, and Operations to deliver results

Qualifications

• Must have actual and relevant work experience in the advertising industry.
• Experience in an advertising agency, media company, digital advertising, or related advertising business.
• Must have managerial or leadership experience in advertising operations, account management, client servicing, sales, or business development.
• Strong client acquisition and business development background is highly preferred.
• Must be Manila-based or willing to work in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall advertising business and day-to-day operations.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
• Develop new clients, accounts, partnerships, and business opportunities.
• Oversee advertising campaigns and projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, proposals, quotations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Creative, Marketing, Production, Operations, suppliers, and other teams.
• Ensure campaigns and projects meet client requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Handle major client concerns and ensure timely and professional resolution.
• Develop strategies for client acquisition, retention, account growth, and revenue generation.
• Monitor sales performance, project status, account performance, and profitability.
• Lead and guide the advertising team to achieve company and client objectives.
• Identify new advertising opportunities, partnerships, and potential markets.
• Prepare regular operational, sales, client, and business performance reports for Management.
• Travel for client meetings, presentations, projects, and other business requirements when needed.
