Accenture Manila is seeking an Advanced App Eng Associate Manager to lead the resolution of complex issues across critical business systems. The role requires proactive incident handling, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring a capable engineering team to maintain reliable operations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expert IBM AS/400 Administration, performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, security and access management, and scripting to automate routine tasks.

This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. The position demands continuous monitoring and quick response to incidents, ensuring that business processes remain efficient and reliable throughout the day.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM AS /400 Administration.
• Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and capacity planning for IBM AS /400 environments.
• Experience in managing system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with security protocols and user access management on IBM AS /400 platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to IBM AS /400 systems.
• Proficient in scripting and automation to streamline routine administrative tasks.

Additional Information
