Job summary

The Medical City Ortigas is seeking an experienced Admitting Associate to manage the end-to-end patient admission process, including collecting identification, medical histories, and insurance details, and guiding patients and families through forms.

This role reports to the Admission and Bed Management department and requires accuracy, strong communication, and flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital admission or clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to collect patient information including assessments and histories.
• Explain admission procedures to patients and families.
• Knowledge of Philhealth eligibility and insurance claims advantageous.
• Willingness to work in shifting schedules including nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Bed assignment based on patient criteria such as diagnosis, level of care, and plan of care.
• Assist with Philhealth eligibility and insurance claims and handle general administrative tasks.
• Manage the entire admission process and enter patient information into the pre-admissions database.
