The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and operational support to the Executive Chef and the Culinary Division, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day functioning of the department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing correspondence, maintaining confidential records and filing systems
- Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements
- Preparing reports and documentation
- Monitoring attendance records
- Supporting departmental planning and operational initiatives
- Ensuring effective communication and maintaining organizational standards
- Contributing to the successful execution of Culinary and Food & Beverage objectives while upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and guest service excellence
- Complying with company policies and budget limits
- Driving and contributing to overall efficiency of the department
- Motivating and developing team members
- Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of documents, matters, and techniques
- Modeling the company culture at all times and taking on other tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in an administrative or secretarial role; 1–2 years of operational exposure in a Food & Beverage or Culinary environment
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, collaborative “can‑do” approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, typing, document preparation, filing systems, basic Adobe software
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Sound judgment, critical thinking skills, discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
