Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Makati seeks a senior Active Directory and IAM specialist to lead a regional team and oversee AD services, security, and performance. You will drive architecture, respond to incidents, and collaborate across IT, security, and infrastructure to ensure reliable identity services.

The role requires deep AD expertise, Azure AD, LDAP/SSO knowledge, and hands-on proficiency with PowerShell and cloud directories. A university degree and certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Active Directory operations and IAM
• Experience with global or regional teams is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Extensive knowledge of AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and CA
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts including Azure AD, LDAP and SSO
• Cloud-based directory services experience is a plus
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified are desirable
• Ability to anticipate issues and take initiative to resolve them before escalation
• Communicate effectively across teams and geographies

About the Role

• Ensures IT service availability and minimises the AIA’s business impact of IT service outages through the effective management.
• Contributes to the improvement of user satisfaction with IT services by ensuring that the arrangements remain aligned with business needs and priorities and fit for purpose.
• Improves the overall technical performance as measured by the technology related KPIs and SLAs (utilisation, availability, response times etc.) year on year

Technical Operations and Performance Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of AD administrators and support engineers to ensure high performance and operational efficiency.

Active Directory Management:

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory Services and components including domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Authority
• Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Active Directory across the organization.

Incident & Problem Managements:

• Act as an escalation point for Active Directory-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security best practices for Active Directory, including privileged access management, account lifecycle management, and audit policies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor Active Directory performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security to optimize AD configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholder to evaluate, select, and implement AD-related tools and technologies.
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers and ensure SLAs are met.

Budget & Resource Management:

• Develop and manage AD related budget.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadline and organizational goals.

Part of the Active Directory operations team, with on-call and standby duties activated based on business criticality to implement changes, fulfil requests, and resolve incidents.

4+ years of relevant experience in which at least 1 year regional exposure

Hands on experience in AD related technologies or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.

Bachelor’s degree holder of unviersity on Information Technology or related discipline

Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, CA and related technologies.

Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, including Azure AD, LDAP, and SSO.

Experience with cloud-based directory services environments is a plus.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified, or equivalent is highly desirable.
