Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an experienced AI Engineering Consultant to drive the design, development, deployment, and operationalization of enterprise AI solutions across the organization, including Generative AI, agentic AI, and AI-powered digital solutions.

You will partner with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to turn AI concepts into scalable production-grade systems, establish AI engineering standards, and build reusable frameworks and accelerators that enable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/SE/Math/Stats/Data Science or related.
• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, data engineering, or software engineering.
• 3+ years deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Proven experience delivering GenAI, MLOps, or AI platform solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions that solve complex business challenges.
• Develop reusable AI services, APIs, SDKs, and accelerators to accelerate AI adoption across business units.
• Conduct evaluations, benchmarking, and optimization of AI models, prompts, and agentic workflows.
• Develop integrations between AI agents and enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and business processes.
• Design and implement enterprise AI engineering platforms and MLOps frameworks.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineering Consultant to drive the design, development, deployment, and operationalization of enterprise AI solutions across the organization. This role will contribute to the delivery of next-generation AI capabilities including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-powered Digital Solutions. The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to transform innovative AI concepts into scalable production-grade solutions. This role requires expertise in AI platform engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MLOps, cloud-native development, and enterprise AI governance. The role will be instrumental in establishing AIA's AI engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and solution accelerators that enable responsible, scalable, and business-focused AI adoption across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions that solve complex business challenges.
• Develop reusable AI services, APIs, SDKs, and accelerators to accelerate AI adoption across business units.
• Conduct evaluations, benchmarking, and optimization of AI models, prompts, and agentic workflows.
• Develop integrations between AI agents and enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and business processes.
• Design and implement enterprise AI engineering platforms and MLOps frameworks.
• Help establish enterprise standards for AI engineering, GenAI development, and Agentic AI governance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Proven experience delivering GenAI, MLOps, or AI platform solutions in enterprise settings.
• Knowledge and experience in Python, Azure, Databricks, Kubernetes, etc.
