Lead Active Directory Engineer — IAM & Azure AD

Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Makati seeks a senior Active Directory and IAM specialist to lead a regional team and oversee AD services, security, and performance. You will drive architecture, respond to incidents, and collaborate across IT, security, and infrastructure to ensure reliable identity services.

The role requires deep AD expertise, Azure AD, LDAP/SSO knowledge, and hands-on proficiency with PowerShell and cloud directories. A university degree and certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Active Directory operations and IAM
• Experience with global or regional teams is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Extensive knowledge of AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and CA
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts including Azure AD, LDAP and SSO
• Cloud-based directory services experience is a plus
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified are desirable
• Ability to anticipate issues and take initiative to resolve them before escalation
• Communicate effectively across teams and geographies

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AD administrators and support engineers
• Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of AD services
• Ensure AD stability, security, and performance across the organization
• Act as escalation point for AD-related issues and conduct root-cause analyses
• Implement security best practices for privileged access and audit policies
• Monitor AD performance, analyze trends, and optimize configurations
• Coordinate with infra and security teams and external vendors on AD tools
• Manage AD budget and resource allocation
• Maintain on-call readiness and incident response processes
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment
