Job summary

Heidi is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist based in the Philippines to support APAC and EMEA regions. You’ll manage invoicing, collections, and reporting, aligning with AUS time zones and critical deadlines as needed.

This role reports to the AR Operations Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate billing, resolving discrepancies, maintaining AR sub-ledgers, and contributing to month-end close while supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in technology or SaaS.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; interpret data for improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across time zones.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Experience resolving billing issues and streamlining receivables processes.
• Flexibility to align working hours with EMEA operations when needed.
• Self-starter able to work independently in a remote, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AR operations for APAC and EMEA regions, incl. invoicing, collections, cash application, disputes, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate billing by verifying docs and resolving discrepancies with internal teams.
• Serve as a responsive contact for customer billing inquiries across time zones.
• Maintain AR sub-ledgers, track payments, investigate variances, and resolve unapplied cash.
• Contribute to month-end close with reconciliations, journal entries, and AR reporting.
• Support audit/compliance requests with proper documentation and records.
• Drive process improvements and automation to scale AR operations.
