Job summary

MFG Manille, Inc. (Marithé + François Girbaud) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable specialist in the Manila area to ensure timely payments and accurate posting of receipts.

You will manage invoices, monitor collections, and coordinate with the Treasury department. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 1–2 years of experience, strong math skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, banking or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related role.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• General math skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to operate computerized accounting/spreadsheet programs.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up-to-date daily sales records and capturing all sales transactions from various channels.
• Generating and sending invoices for collection to business partners.
• Allocating, following up, and recording payments in coordination with the Treasury Department.
• Recording and reporting all daily work-related sales activities.
• Following very specific and strict deadlines in relation to sales cutoff.
• Performing sales account reconciliations including deposits of daily cash sales, credit card settlements, goods on consignment and e-commerce transactions.
• Being on the look-out for delayed or missed payments and other irregularities.
• Researching and resolving collection/payment discrepancies.
• Reviewing account statuses for overdue accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with the company's sales accounting procedures.
