Job summary

Vital Business Partners is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead in Cebu City, Philippines. The role oversees the end-to-end AP function, provides day-to-day leadership to the AP team, and ensures timely, accurate supplier invoices, expenses, and payments in line with policy and controls.

You will drive process improvements, manage stakeholder relationships, and coordinate with onshore and offshore finance teams to deliver high service levels.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership of an AP or Shared Services team.
• Experience managing high‑volume AP operations with controls and KPIs.
• Excellent stakeholder management with cross‑functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end AP processes including invoices, expenses, and payments.
• Lead and develop AP team members and allocate workload to meet SLAs.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, training, and upskilling activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and offshore/onshore finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Support month/year end close, accruals, and AP reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
