Job summary

Makati Supermarket Corporation is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee AP activities, ensure timely and accurate financial entries, and support efficient accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, solid knowledge of SAP Business One, and strong analytical and leadership skills to guide the AP team and coordinate with internal departments on fiscal matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and manual financial entries.
• Familiarity with SAP Business One.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with tax compliance, and VAT-related transactions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounts payable transactions and ensure accurate recording of financial entries
• Monitor account reconciliation and the preparation of accounting reports
• Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of financial records
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting
• Monitor compliance with applicable tax regulations and VAT requirements
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding accounting concerns
• Guide and support accounting personnel to maintain efficient workflows
