Dempsey Resource Management Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support the accounts payable cycle, verify invoices, and manage supplier payments. The role demands accuracy and timely processing with strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities include encoding AP transactions, reconciling statements, and assisting month-end closings using QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Xero. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a 20k-25k monthly salary and an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related).
• Understanding of full accounts payable cycle including invoices, payments, ledgers.
• Familiarity with VAT/Withholding Tax and local tax rules.
• Proficiency with accounting software e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or Xero.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices and payment requests.
• Ensure invoices are supported by POs, delivery receipts, and documents.
• Encode and record AP transactions in the system.
• Prepare payment vouchers and assist in processing payments.
• Monitor due dates and maintain payable schedules.
• Reconcile supplier statements with company records; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized files of invoices and payment documents.
• Assist in AP reports and financial summaries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on billing and payments.
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting tasks.
