Job summary

Symbos Managed Services Inc in Manila is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume invoice processing and vendor reconciliation within a regional shared services environment. You will validate invoices, apply correct codes and cost centres, resolve discrepancies, and assist with month-end activities.

The role starts with three months onsite training, then four days onsite and one day work-from-home weekly.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounts payable or related finance experience.
• Hands-on experience with invoice processing and vendor reconciliation.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Good written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and on time with proper documentation and coding.
• Validate invoice details, including vendor data, tax amounts and supporting docs.
• Apply correct accounting codes and cost centres before approvals.
• Perform vendor reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve queries and missing documentation.
• Support month-end activities and AP reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation; adhere to internal controls.
