Lhoopa Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage day-to-day AP activities, including processing supplier invoices and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
You’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, monitor aging, and support month-end closing and financial reporting. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and timely payments to support the company’s goals in the Philippines.
Accounts Payable | Invoice Processing | Reconciliation | Finance Operations
Paying an invoice sounds simple.
Until the amount is wrong, the supporting document is incomplete, the request is duplicated, the supplier is following up, or month-end arrives with items still unresolved.
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who can keep that process accurate, organized, and moving.
You’ll be responsible for making sure invoices and payment requests are properly reviewed, recorded, followed through, and resolved — while maintaining the level of accuracy expected from a Finance team.
You’ll handle day-to-day Accounts Payable activities including:
Processing and recording supplier invoices
Managing employee advances, liquidations, reimbursements, and other payment requests
Reviewing invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Monitoring Accounts Payable aging and following up outstanding items
Supporting timely payment processing
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
Supporting accruals and financial reporting requirements
Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
You should have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
Experience using accounting systems such as QuickBooks
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail
Good organizational and time-management skills
Understanding of accounting controls, policies, and compliance requirements
You notice when numbers don’t match.
You don’t process something just because it landed in your queue.
You’re comfortable following up with people when a requirement is incomplete.
You can manage multiple payment requests without losing track of what is pending.
And when there’s a discrepancy, you want to understand and resolve it properly rather than simply passing it along.
Accounts Payable sits at an important point between the company, its employees, and its suppliers.
When the process works well, payments are accurate, records are clean, suppliers know what to expect, and Finance can close the books with confidence.
At Lhoopa, that financial discipline supports a larger mission: helping make homeownership more accessible to Filipino families.
If you have solid Accounts Payable experience and take pride in getting the details right, we’d like to hear from you.
