Michael Page is seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Accountant to support the AP function by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and maintaining vendor records. You will help ensure timely and accurate payments and assist with month-end closings.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 1–5 years in AP/GL, and strong Excel/Office skills. ERP experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and process payment requests, checks, and EFTs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain organized AP records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support reconciliations and journal entry prep when needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams on approvals and payment status.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

The role assists in month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims accurately and on time.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process payment requests, checks, and electronic fund transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of obligations.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support account reconciliations and journal entry preparation when required.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoice approvals and payment status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements.
