Job summary

Merck Group in the Philippines seeks a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Accounts Payable to optimize the Invoice To Pay process across ERP systems, mentor staff, and drive end-to-end AP excellence. You will troubleshoot, train, and lead 3C/RCA sessions while collaborating with procurement, finance and IT to align AP with business goals and ensure compliant operations.

The role requires a finance/accounting degree and at least six years in AP, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accounting or related fields.
Minimum of 6 years experience in Accounts Payables end-to-end operations.
Extensive background in end-to-end AP processes, GRIR/vendor reconciliation.
Strong problem-solving with Lean/3C/RCA methodologies and process improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
Ability to train and mentor team members in AP processes and systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as the go-to expert on Accounts Payable, systems and best practices.
Troubleshoot ERP issues and improve user experience within AP.
Develop and deliver training programs for AP staff.
Identify and implement process efficiency improvements.
Lead 3C/RCA problem-solving sessions to address operational challenges.
Collaborate with procurement, finance and IT to align AP processes with business goals.
Maintain AP documentation and generate reports to track performance.
Act as liaison to resolve issues and communicate changes.
