Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Expense Lead to oversee AP operations and expense management across a complex multi-entity investment environment. The role requires senior AP leadership, with a strong grasp of private equity fund structures, SPVs, and fund expense allocation.

You will strengthen AP workflows, ensure accurate expense allocation, improve controls, and drive efficiency across multiple entities, while coaching the AP team and collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting, with a strong focus on AP workflow management in a multi-entity environment.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of Private Equity fund structures, management companies, SPVs, and fund expense allocation.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, invoice management, payment workflows, and expense accounting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with complex financial structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and expense management activities across multiple entities.
• Manage AP workflows, including invoice processing, payment coordination, expense reviews, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate allocation of expenses across private equity funds, management companies, and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
• Review and monitor fund-related expenses, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, employee expenses, and vendor payments.
• Monitor AP controls, approval workflows, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Lead, coach, and support the AP team, ensuring quality, accountability, and timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes through automation and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies, expense allocation issues, and operational challenges.
• Support reporting, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience supporting private equity, alternative investments, or fund administration environments.

Work Arrangement

• Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM Philippine Time.
