Job summary

HelloConnect in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to bridge the accounting team with external partners. You will process invoices, ensure three-way matching, and support month-end close with accurate reporting.

You bring 2 years’ AP experience, strong attention to detail, and professional communication with suppliers and internal teams. This role emphasizes controls, accuracy, and timely financial operations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or a similar finance role.
• Hands-on experience processing, validating, and recording supplier invoices on time.
• Knowledge of 3-way invoice matching (Invoice, Purchase Order, Delivery Receipt).
• Experience reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing invoices and financial records.
• Professional communication with suppliers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of basic accounting controls and invoice approvals.
• Ability to prioritize multiple invoices, reconciliations, and reporting deadlines.
• Honesty, accountability, and discretion with financial information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement on invoice discrepancies and raise alerts.
• Process invoices including three-way match and using finance tools.
• Handle day-to-day AP transactions including verification and recording.
• Monitor supplier statements and onboarding vendor information.
• Support month-end and year-end close; assist with ad hoc duties.
• Implement and enforce financial and inventory controls.
• Communicate with Finance team on day-to-day queries and process improvements.
• Provide timely reporting on accounts payable status.
• Support timely completion of close processes.
