Job summary

Firefly Electric & Lighting Corporation is seeking an Accounting Associate (Accounts Payable) in Ermita, Manila. This on-site, full-time role supports payment processing, documentation, and policy compliance within the Finance - Accounting Team.

Responsibilities include processing payments, recording transactions, updating requesters, and assisting Tax with receipts and closing activities. Fresh graduates with AP internship are welcome; SAP familiarity and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Fresh graduates with internship in Accounts Payable.
• Familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for data sorting.
• Flexible and adaptable to additional tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, validate and process payment requests in line with accounting policies.
• Record transactions and adjust discrepancies as needed.
• Provide status updates to requesters and circulate documentation to recipients.
• Support Tax group with proper receipts and assist with month-end/year-end closings.
• Organize and maintain financial documents and perform related administrative finance tasks.
