The Qualifications We Seek
- 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounts payable team
- Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks, or Xero
- Good understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and accounts payable best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other financial tools
- Experience working effectively in a changing environment
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem‑solving and willingness to learn
Your Daily Tasks
Compliance and Reporting
- Act as the gatekeeper for all costs processed through accounts payable and ensure accurate coding
- Process sweeps and intercompany‑related transactions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required
Your WHS Responsibilities
- Take reasonable care of personal safety and the physical and psychological safety of others
- Avoid actions or behaviors that may place others at risk of injury or harm
- Comply with reasonable instructions to ensure adherence to WHS legislation, codes of practice, and standards
- Follow documented safe work systems and complete required training provided by the organization or external training providers
- Cooperate with management to implement workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Report workplace incidents immediately to the line manager and assist with incident investigations when required
