Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.

• 1-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a big advantage.
• Knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims accurately and on time.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process payment requests, checks, and electronic fund transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of obligations.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support account reconciliations and journal entry preparation when required.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoice approvals and payment status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and regulatory requirements.
