Job summary

Global Staff Network is seeking an Accounts Manager to oversee financial closes, trust accounting, and client billing for Australian clients. The role is onsite with day shifts and reports to Directors, guiding a small accounting team.

Responsibilities cover payroll processing for Australian employees, cashflow management, and budgeting. Candidates should have at least 5 years in accounting and a strong grasp of trust and legal accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in legal firm accounting or trust accounting preferred.
• Experience supporting Australian clients.
• Experience processing Australian payroll.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Prepare and present financial reports to Directors.
• Manage trust accounts and client monies with compliance.
• Process Australian payroll and entitlements.
• Maintain general ledger and reconciliations.
• Monitor cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with directors and staff on billing and WIP.
• Lead and mentor 2–3 onsite accounting staff; ensure deadlines.
