Job summary

Global Staff Network is seeking an Accounts Manager for onsite operations in Davao City. The role involves overseeing financial close processes, preparing reports for Directors, and managing trust accounts with strict regulatory compliance. You will coordinate Australian payroll and deliver insightful financial analysis.

You will lead a small team of onsite accountants, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate deliverables to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required; CPA preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
• Experience in legal firm accounting or trust accounting is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting Australian clients is essential.
• Experience processing Australian payroll is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
• Prepare and present financial reports to Directors.
• Produce P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis and track financial performance.
• Oversee trust accounts and client monies; ensure audit-ready records.
• Handle Australian payroll processing and entitlements.
• Ensure compliance with AU regulations and trust accounting rules.
• Lead and mentor 2-3 onsite accounting staff; review outputs and improve processes.
