Job summary

REMOTE STAFF, INC. is seeking a Data Entry & Accounts Support specialist to join a fast-paced Australian IT services team. You will input high volumes of financial data, supplier bills, and customer receipts into Reckon Accounts with strict accuracy, and organize invoices and receipts for audit readiness.

You'll cross-check vendor invoices against purchase orders, reconcile accounts, and prepare payments. Strong Excel skills, PDF handling, and familiarity with QuickBooks/Desktop are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Reckon Accounts or QuickBooks Desktop is highly preferred.
• Fast learners with strong experience in Xero or other desktop accounting systems are welcome to apply.
• Proficient with PDF files, Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard web browsers (Chrome/Firefox).
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable with routine/repetitive tasks.
• Highly responsive to real-time feedback and training over chat.

Responsibilities

• Input high volumes of daily financial data into Reckon Accounts with strict accuracy.
• Maintain organized digital folders of invoices and receipts and attach source documents to transactions.
• Process vendor invoices, cross-referencing against purchase orders and delivery dockets.
