Job summary

ISTA Solutions in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our outsourcing team. The role covers AP/AR, month-end close support, and supervisory duties for the Mandaluyong site on-site, with night shift requirements.

You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure precise financial records. The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting, 3+ years of accounting experience, and at least 1 year in a leadership role, plus strong Excel skills and excellent English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years work experience in Accounting (AP/AR/Bookkeeping).
• At least 1 year supervisory / team lead experience.
• Proficiency in using MS Excel (Formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Willing to work onsite in Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong
• Amenable working night shift

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense documentation.
• Perform transactional accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
• Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with cash management activities and monitoring of cash transactions.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients regarding accounting and AP-related concerns.
• Assist with other accounting-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
