Secret Paradise Resort in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Officer to oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with company and government requirements.

You will supervise staff, review transactions, manage payables/receivables, payroll, cash, and reconciliations, and prepare financial reports while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and Philippine statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise accounting staff.
• Review financial transactions, records, and supporting documents.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, cash, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial reports and accounting summaries.
• Monitor expenses, collections, payments, and cash flow.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements.
• Coordinate with management, auditors, banks, suppliers, and other departments.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
