Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is hiring an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations in Caloocan City. You will ensure accurate recording of transactions and collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and Management to uphold financial controls.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with supervisory exposure, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA is a plus, with a 9:00–6:00 schedule and a 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM workday, standard Monday

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA qualification is preferred.
3–5 years of accounting experience with supervisory or team-lead experience.
Experience in retail, distribution, warehouse, or multi-branch operations is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of general accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported.
Review journal entries, schedules, and accounting records for accuracy.
Monitor proper classification and recording of income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
Ensure accounting records are updated and properly maintained.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Supervise accounts payable processes, supplier invoices, and payments.
