Job summary

RELIANCECARE INC. in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Supervisor – General Ledger & Financial Reporting to lead core accounting operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.

You will support internal and external audits, partner with finance and cross-functional teams to improve processes, and mentor the team to deliver reliable financial information while meeting tight deadlines and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and controls.
• Working knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• CPA certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Review vendor invoice processing for proper GL coding and cost classification.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations (cash, prepaids, inventory, other assets, liabilities).
• Review and approve manual journal entries.
• Support audit processes with documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, FP&A, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team through evaluations, coaching, feedback.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, monitor performance, distribute workload.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and control.
• Support other finance projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.
