Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Experience with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions including: Nontrade Payable and ledgers.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Assist the Director for Accounting and Finance in management reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights into management for decision-making.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control systems and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with internal audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Assign responsibilities and evaluate team performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the department.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems and workflows.
• Participate in ERP/accounting system enhancements and automation projects.
• Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.

Job Summary

The General Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate General Ledgers, Financial reports compliant with accounting standards, and internal controls. This role manages the general ledger, month-end and year-end closing processes, financial analysis while leading and developing the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
