Job summary

Quickstart Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a seasoned Accountant to manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial statements, and support budget planning.

You will perform month-end close, assist with audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate has a BS in Accountancy with 4+ years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and experience with SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy required.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with focus on team development and collaboration.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Conducting month-end account reconciliations.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Performing internal audits and assisting with external audits.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
• Preparing tax returns and maintaining documentation.
• Identifying inefficiencies and reporting on variances; assisting management with budgets and forecasts.
