Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting department for a reputable medical distribution company. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency. Location: Panay Ave, Quezon City

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, tax compliance, and cost accounting
• Support audits by assisting with quarterly/year-end financial audits and annual corporate financial controls audits
• Evaluate and optimize accounting practices, recommending improvements for accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure completeness and compliance with Philippine GAAP
• Supervise general ledger activities, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, and assist with regulatory filings
• Research and resolve accounting issues in accordance with GAAP standards
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
• Manage and develop accounting staff through performance reviews, goal-setting, training, and employee engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of Philippine GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels
• Proven leadership with a results-driven approach and strong employee management skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
