Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for its Eastwood Libis Quezon City office. This dayshift, onsite role requires monitoring daily transactions, reviewing the general ledger, and leading month- and year-end closings.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least two years of related experience, and CPA preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software, plus strong analytical and leadership skills, are required in a multicultural

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant coursework.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in financial statement prep and audit procedures.
• Experience in corporate accounting or auditing.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards and intercompany transactions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and various accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily transactions and review the general ledger and reconciliations.
• Manage financial statements including consolidated reports and variance analysis.
• Review controls and write policies ensuring compliance with standards.
• Execute month-end and year-end closings and reconciliations.

Your Role

As a Accounting Supervisor, you will:

• Secure financial operations by monitoring and reviewing daily transactions processing, including the general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Manage the company’s Financial Statements, including the preparation of consolidated financial reports and comparative movement analysis for monthly and annual P&L.
• Review and recommend accounting controls by preparing policies and procedures while ensuring adherence to financial standards and expenditures.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing entries and processes, including reconciling management invoices and transfer pricing for subsidiaries.
• Lead Finance team members by assisting in hiring, providing technical guidance, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing ISO and compliance requirements and addressing auditor queries.
• Collaborate with the Government Compliance Manager to meet regulatory requirements and prepare ad-hoc reports for various departments.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace for all employees by reporting hazards and contributing to a positive organizational mission.
• Complete all necessary training requirements and professional development opportunities to maintain high accounting standards.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with extensive accounting coursework.Technical
• Experience: At least two (2) years of professional experience in Financial Statement preparation and audit procedures.
• Professional Background: Relevant experience in corporate accounting or auditing.Accounting
• Expertise: Solid knowledge of accounting standards, processes, and intercompany transactions (transfer pricing and billing).
• Technical Proficiency: Adept with Microsoft Office applications and broad exposure to various accounting software

Preferred skills/expertise

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent accounting certification.
• Proven team management skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision in a multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and time management skills to meet multiple deadlines.
