MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting team at our Pasay City site.

You will oversee month-end close, journal entries, audits, and process improvements in a multi-currency environment, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.

The role requires 5–7 years of leadership experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ERP proficiency (Oracle/SAP/NetSuite), and a CPA is a plus; we offer competitive rewards, day-one healthcare, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5–7 years of full-cycle GL and accounting close experience in a leadership role.
• Strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience managing full-cycle month-end and year-end close under deadlines.
• Hands-on with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Mentor and oversee daily accounting staff to meet deadlines.

Your Role

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will:

• Mentor, train, and oversee the daily operations of accounting staff to ensure close deadlines, quality standards, and SLAs are met.
• Review and approve routine and complex journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage full-cycle month-end and year-end close activities and timelines to deliver accurate record-to-report financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors by providing documentation for consolidated audits, local statutory audits, and tax filings.
• Identify and drive opportunities to standardize accounting processes, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve close efficiency.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5 to 7 years of full-cycle general ledger and accounting close experience in an accounting leadership role, preferably in a multi-regional/multi-currency setting.
• Strong technical command of accounting standards including IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle month-end and year-end close activities under strict deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional credential.
• Experience working within a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment handling global operations.
• Familiarity with automated AP workflow software like Esker or Coupa.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex functions).
• Fluency in the Spanish language (spoken and written).
