Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines seeks a Senior Accountant who will supervise the accounting function and ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and timely month-end closing across the group. You will review statements, manage reconciliations, coordinate with auditors, oversee intercompany accounts, and lead a small accounting team while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Experience handling multiple entities or related-party transactions is an advantage.
• Experience in real estate, construction, hospitality, or similar industries is preferred.
• Experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting and BIR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations and review accounting entries.
• Review monthly/quarterly financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing.
• Review VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other BIR requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and handle audit requirements.
• Review AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts.
• Oversee real estate sales and buyer account reconciliations.
• Supervise accounting activities of IHC/Art Ranch, ICC and IRDC.
• Analyze account variances and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Supervise and train accounting staff.
• Prepare financial and management reports as required.
