Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• General Ledger
• Bank Reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements for management review
• Maintain and monitor accounting systems, primarily using QuickBooks
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Train, mentor, and guide junior accounting staff
• Ensure compliance with BIR and other government reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
• With leadership or supervisory experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and BIR regulations
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
• CPA license is an advantage but not required
