Job summary

The University of Cebu is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate records, timely transactions, and regulatory compliance. You will supervise accounting staff and coordinate with other departments to prepare financial reports and maintain internal controls.

Responsibilities include supervising billing, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and submission of reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Accounting or related business field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in construction is an advantage.

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor oversees the organization's day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely transactions, proper reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective supervision of accounting staff.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Accounting, or any related business field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Experience in construction is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and government compliance
• Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets
• Flexible, a team player, and with good interpersonal skills
• Proactive, takes initiative, manifests analytical problem-solving skills, and can work well under pressure with less supervision
