Job summary

Qualifications

• CPA is preferred but not required.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead end-to-end accounting operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate has a solid background in trading or multi-entity environments, strong hands‑on experience with modern ERP systems, and deep knowledge of Philippine tax and statutory compliance. You will supervise a dedicated accounting team, drive process excellence, and act as a key partner to the Senior Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger, and financial reconciliations for multiple corporate entities.

• Ensure full compliance with BIR regulations, LGU requirements, and other statutory obligations.

• Utilize ERP/accounting systems to automate workflows, strengthen internal controls, and improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, provide clear guidance on day-to-day operations, and support continuous development of the team.

• Maintain strict adherence to monthly closing schedules, prepare financial analysis and reports, and present consolidated figures to the Senior Finance Manager under tight deadlines.

• Take ownership of ad‑hoc finance initiatives as the local team’s scope expands.

About you

1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CPA is preferred but not required.

2. Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead capacity.

3. Strong working knowledge of the Philippine Tax Code (TRAIN/CREATE), BIR eFPS/eBIRForms portals, and SEC/LGU compliance requirements.

4. Hands‑on experience with ERP or modern accounting systems.

5. Excellent time management, problem‑solving ability under pressure, and clear verbal and written English communication skills (comfortable presenting to management).
