Qualificações

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Experience in General Accounting, GL management, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with BIR regulations and accounting standards.

About the role

Lead the General Accounting function by overseeing daily operations, maintaining accurate and complete financial records, and supporting timely financial reporting. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, BIR regulations, and company policies while guiding the performance and development of the accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily General Accounting operations and ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and General Ledger accounts.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
• Ensure the proper recording of accruals, prepayments, and adjusting entries.
• Monitor compliance with BIR regulations, tax requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit activities.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate accounting staff performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen the efficiency and quality of accounting operations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong experience in General Accounting, General Ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of month-end closing, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with BIR regulations, tax compliance, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
