Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the financial reporting, margin analysis, and revenue accounting functions. You will supervise the accounting team, review month-end close, ensure accuracy of statements, and support audits.

You will also mentor staff, drive process improvements, assist budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage financial reporting, margin analysis, revenue accounting, AR and AP.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations incl. GL, AP/AR, reconciliations.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close.

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting Margin Analysis Revenue Accounting AR and AP
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
