Job summary

Nova Works Corp. is seeking an Accounting Staff to support daily accounting and financial operations in Laguna, Philippines.

The role involves recording transactions, processing invoices, monitoring payables/receivables, and assisting with payroll and financial reporting. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field, with 1–3 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in Excel and common MS Office applications.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accountancy or related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, expense reports, and other accounting summaries.
• Reconcile financial records and verify transactions against supporting documents.
• Monitor company expenses, payments, collections, and cash transactions.
• Assist with payroll preparation and employee expense documentation, when required.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and other departments regarding billing and payment concerns.
• Maintain organized and confidential financial files and records.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
